Comic – Armour Research #1

I will draw inspiration from various historical periods in designing the armour and clothing for my characters. I will either take reference directly or extrapolate historical trends to a future end point. Scavenged armour and clothing could also reproduce historical styles by coincidence.

Suits of armour showing how plates fit together on the body. It would be really interesting to explore how scavenged material could be used to create medieval type plate armour, creating a full suit but with hints of technology.

Greek and Roman

Shapes used in ancient Greek helmets would be interesting in terms of helmet or even robot design. Helmet crest could also be a nice touch.

Roman helmets also carry an a really nice classical feel and are aesthetically very interesting. I feel that the shape and make up of roman helmets is something that could be experimented with.
