Yvonne Hsu has gone with a rather conceptual approach, creating fictional scenarios relating to everyday life, creating digital images. I like the idea of taking an event that is so non dramatic and producing a fun and imaginative scenario from it.

Malcolm Willett has created some nice book jacket designs as his solution to the brief, taking the story aspect up a notch. While these are not rendered brilliantly there are some interesting concepts, particularly using the act of learning to tie shoes as overcoming the monster and the idea that a battery running out can be considered to be a tragic event.
